Okay okay okay. [info]littlegirltoast and I were at the drugstore today -- while I waited for my stupid Effexor perscription to be filled -- and we discovered just how many freaking different types of Harlquin Romance books there are. I'm going to share some of my favourite sub-sets. No, wait. There is too much for one entry. This will have to become a regular feature or something. I'm gonna try to only pick three. Here we go.

1. Medical Romance: 24/7 - Trauma, Triumph, and Love!

For example ...

Dr. Solange Léandre has dedicated her life to her rural clinic in the jungle of Kijé island. Involving herself in the lively community is a happy refuge from her painful past — a chance to heal through healing others.

But with the oh-so-gorgeous lady saying she won't leave his side until he solves the case, he decides she could be useful to him — on the beat during the day, and in bed at night.
